Job summary

Rite Air Mechanical in Moorestown, NJ, is seeking an Associate District Manager to lead our commercial HVAC/R field operations alongside the District Manager. Qualifications

• 5+ years of people-management and field-service leadership experience in HVAC/R.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work from and travel across the Moorestown, NJ service market.
• Authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily technician schedules, PTO, and the emergency on-call schedule for evenings and weekends.
• Partner with dispatchers to improve technician scheduling, service efficiency, and contract adherence.
• Review technician timecards for accuracy and meet weekly payroll deadlines.
• Lead and reinforce all field safety initiatives.
• Participate in technician recruiting, onboarding, training, and development.
• Coach technicians to improve performance, productivity, and customer service results.
• Identify strengths and development opportunities within the technician team.
• Manage technician performance through coaching and corrective action with the District Manager.
• Review district performance and operating metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help control operating expenses and support district sales and profitability goals.
• Collaborate with Parts Department to resolve parts availability and delivery issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Investigate customer concerns and develop effective solutions.
• Participate in vehicle inventory reviews and address compliance issues.
• Work with fleet management to maintain district vehicle and driver data.
• Support workforce planning and staffing needs across the district.
