Job summary

Rite Air Mechanical in Moorestown, NJ, a Smart Care company, seeks an Associate District Manager to lead our commercial HVAC/R service operations and drive district performance. You will partner with the District Manager to manage field teams, schedules, recruitment, and safety, while ensuring top service quality and profitability.

You will oversee technician onboarding, coaching, and development, review district metrics with leadership, and collaborate with dispatch and fleet teams to optimize

Qualifications

• Associate degree and at least two years of people-management or field-service leadership experience.
• Ability to travel throughout Moorestown, NJ service market and read/write/speak English.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workforce flow, technician schedules, PTO, and on-call coverage.
• Partner with dispatchers to improve scheduling and service efficiency.
• Review technician timecards and payroll deadlines.
• Lead and reinforce field safety initiatives.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop technicians.
• Coach technicians to improve performance and customer service results.
• Identify development opportunities within the technician team.
• Review district performance with the District Manager and identify improvement opportunities.
• Control operating expenses and support sales and profitability goals.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to resolve availability, shipping, and delivery issues.
