Job summary

Rite Air Mechanical, a Smart Care company, is seeking an Associate District Manager to lead our Moorestown, NJ commercial HVAC/R operations. You will partner with the District Manager to guide daily field operations, develop a team of service technicians, and drive customer service, sales, and profitability in the Moorestown market.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of people-management and field-service leadership experience in HVAC/R.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to travel throughout Moorestown, NJ service market.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workforce flow, technician schedules, PTO, and on-call coverage.
• Partner with dispatchers to improve scheduling, efficiency, and completion of contracted work.
• Review timecards and payroll deadlines weekly.
• Lead field safety initiatives and technician development.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage field technicians.
• Coach technicians to improve performance, productivity, and customer service results.
• Identify strengths and development opportunities within the team.
• Collaborate with District Manager to review district performance and drive improvements.
• Help control operating expenses and support sales and profitability goals.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to resolve parts availability and delivery issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Investigate customer concerns and develop effective solutions.
• Support workforce planning and staffing needs.
