McCloskey Mechanical in Orlando, FL is seeking a highly experienced HVAC/R Technician with specialized expertise in commercial refrigeration, rack refrigeration, and glycol chiller systems. The ideal candidate will diagnose, troubleshoot, and commission complex installations across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and institutional facilities.

You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, uphold strict safety standards, and contribute to service records, with ongoing training

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC/R and boiler service.
• Valid EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Solid understanding of building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and control integration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Commercial Refrigeration Systems, Rack Refrigeration, & Glycol Chiller Systems.
• Perform installations, startups, and retrofits of commercial/industrial HVAC and boiler equipment.
• Troubleshoot and service HVAC/R systems, including DX systems, chillers, AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, BMS/BAS controls, and related components.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all local codes, safety regulations, and internal quality standards.
• Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company protocols.
