Core Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on supermarket refrigeration units, such as parallel compressor racks and various self-contained systems.
• Ensure optimal performance of walk-in freezers, display cases, reach-ins, ice machines, and single refrigeration units to support daily store operations.
• Resolve issues related to refrigerant leaks, electrical circuits, compressor performance, defrost mechanisms, and valve operations.
• Maintain consistent equipment functionality and protect inventory by identifying and correcting temperature fluctuations.
• Utilize your expertise in EMS and microprocessor controls, specifically CPC, Novar, and Danfoss systems, to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks and provide timely responses to both emergency and scheduled service requests.
• Provide support for commercial HVAC equipment as the need arises.
• Take part in a shared, rotating on-call service schedule.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with store staff while ensuring all service documentation is accurate and complete.

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience working with Danfoss, Novar, and CPC control platforms.
• Ability to interpret complex wiring schematics and perform independent equipment diagnostics to ensure system reliability.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving abilities combined with a commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely navigate ladders.
• Flexibility to support a rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and successfully complete all necessary background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.
