Job summary

CoolSys is seeking an Apprentice (HVAC or Refrigeration) to join our installation team in Florida. You will support senior technicians, install piping and drainage, and help with field work on diverse projects in the HVAC and refrigeration sectors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years in related fields. You will learn industry standards, use basic tools, and gain hands-on experience with safety-focused work environments.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in construction, refrigeration, HVAC, or related industry preferred.
• Ability to operate a scissor lift or forklift preferred.
• Knowledge of job site safety and ability to follow safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment per project requirements under direction of a senior technician.
• Perform work safely using power and hand tools and PPE as directed.
• Escalate safety or quality concerns promptly to on-site leads.
• Maintain clean and professional job sites and store waste materials properly.
• Assist and support senior technicians on a job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
