CoolSys is seeking an Apprentice (Refrigeration) to join the installation team and support senior technicians. You will participate in installing refrigeration systems, piping, and related components while adhering to customer specs and applicable codes.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork, with on-the-job training and opportunities across multiple projects in the HVAC and refrigeration sector.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma, GED, or completion from a trade program or technical school.
• 1+ years of experience in construction, refrigeration, HVAC, or related industry/trade preferred.
• Ability to operate a scissor lift or forklift preferred.
• Knowledge of job site safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to use basic power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment by project requirements and under the direction of a senior technician.
• Perform all assigned work safely using tools and PPE as directed.
• Escalate safety or quality concerns to on-site leaders promptly.
• Maintain clean, professional job sites and proper waste/material storage.
• Assist senior technicians on job sites and follow instructions.
