The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient in QuickBooks Online, with strong Excel skills, and able to manage payables, receivables, job costing, and month-end close.

Qualifications

• HVAC industry experience REQUIRED.
• QuickBooks Online experience REQUIRED.
• 2+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Enter vendor invoices and customer payments.
• Prepare and send customer invoices.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections.
• Process vendor payments.
• Review transactions for proper coding and accuracy.
• Assist with payroll reporting and payroll-related bookkeeping as needed.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Track expenses and assist with job costing.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
• Resolve billing, vendor, and accounting discrepancies.
• Assist management with financial reports and accounting-related projects.
