Job summary

SPX Technologies is hiring a Quality Inspector to ensure OlympusMax and Ingenia AHUs meet customer specifications and quality standards. You will work across manufacturing, engineering and supply chain to maintain an ISO 9001 compliant QMS and support ongoing improvements.

The role offers involvement in startup activities and implementation of quality systems to drive operational excellence at our Madison, AL site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read assembly manuals, job orders, drawings and paperwork.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Able to read a tape measure in metric and imperial units.
• Able to correctly and safely use hand tools (manual and pneumatic).
• Able to read from paper copies.
• Plan work and select proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections on OlympusMax and Ingenia AHUs.
• Verify compliance with drawings, BOMs, specs, and customer requirements.
• Inspect components: fans, coils, dampers, filters, energy recovery, electrical panels.
• Perform dimensional inspections with precision measuring equipment.
• Ensure labeling, documentation and identification requirements are met.
• Complete inspection reports and quality records accurately and timely.
