Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a quality-focused professional to lead key customer-facing quality activities. You will review field data, warranty information, and feedback to drive containment and corrective actions across engineering, manufacturing and service teams.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, improving processes, and supporting new product introductions with robust quality planning. Travel may be required across the Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, quality or related field.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to lead groups in a matrix organization.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• SAP or other ERP system experience preferred.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead key customer-focused quality activities to ensure products meet customer expectations, performance requirements, and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and service teams to resolve customer quality concerns and support new product introductions.
• Review field issues, warranty data, and customer feedback to drive containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by engaging cross-functional teams and implementing 8D problem solving.
