Job summary

Haynes Mechanical Systems in Denver, CO is seeking a Service Repair Specialist (Service Sales Representative) to generate prompt, detailed repair proposals based on findings from HVAC and BAS service technicians during visits to our contract customers.

You will collaborate with dispatch, service technicians, supervisors and account managers to streamline the proposal process, support sales initiatives, and help ensure repairs meet safety standards and contract terms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or a technical role within the HVAC industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including equipment repairs, labor estimating, and parts sourcing.
• Proficiency in researching pricing and availability through supplier databases and industry tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze reports from HVAC technicians on equipment issues identified during service calls or maintenance visits.
• Develop thorough repair proposals with detailed descriptions of repairs, labor, and timelines.
• Research pricing, availability, and sourcing options from suppliers to ensure accurate, competitive quotes.
• Coordinate with dispatch, technicians, and supervisors to validate repair scopes and timelines.
• Maintain records of proposals, approvals, and outcomes in the CRM/proposal system.
• Follow up on proposals and communicate status to customers and internal teams.
