Job summary

KPM is seeking an HVAC Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Dallas-area team. You will lead and perform routine maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general systems, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. The role offers health benefits, PTO, and retirement options, with opportunities to advance through hands-on

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
1-3 years' experience in general maintenance or related field preferred.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
Assist with apartment make-ready tasks between residents.
Conduct regular inspections of property facilities and equipment.
Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory in good condition.
Collaborate with team members and property management to ensure maintenance goals are met.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Support special maintenance projects as assigned.
