Job summary

Romanoff Group of Companies is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Superintendent - Multi-family to manage day-to-day activities on a single project, coordinate with partners, and ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of a multi-family residential site.

The role requires supervising installation crews, reading plans, maintaining safety, and coordinating with general contractors and inspectors to meet code and project milestones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in HVAC.
• Minimum 8 years of installation experience in HVAC.
• Thorough understanding of HVAC industry standards and codes.
• Understanding of residential and commercial new construction processes, including inspections.
• Ability to supervise, train, mentor, and develop field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to oversee multiple people, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read plans and specs to determine scope, materials, equipment locations, and installation requirements.
• Supervise and direct installation crews, field staff, and subcontractors.
• Be the on-site safety, production, leadership, and client contact point.
• Identify tools, materials, and equipment needed for safe, efficient work.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites and ensure code compliance.
• Complete safety and production documentation (JHAs, inspections, reports).
• Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and trades.
• Manage schedules and priorities to meet project deadlines and inspections.
• Provide on-site direction and leadership to crews and subcontractors.
