This role offers hands-on experience in HVAC systems and controls, with factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA). Your role is to deliver exceptional service, diagnose and resolve building inefficiencies, and act as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Train and perform maintenance on HVAC mechanical equipment and controls at client sites.
• Participate in certified training through STA to enhance skills and career growth.
• Develop troubleshooting skills through coaching and mentorship.
• Communicate job progress and issues to JCI, contractors, and clients.
• Attend required union training during the first year.
• Recommend solutions to improve facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
• Provide quotes supporting your recommendations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of industry experience or experience servicing mechanical HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, facilities management, and peripheral equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to professionally represent Johnson Controls.
• Leadership abilities to support less experienced team members.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical education or trade school experience.
