Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an HVAC Project Manager to lead complex chiller projects from order through startup, coordinating engineering, manufacturing and field teams to deliver on time and budget. Under minimal supervision, you will define plans, manage risk, build client relationships, and drive continuous improvement across workflows with internal partners.

A Bachelor's in Engineering and PMP planning within 2 years are preferred, along with strong communication and project-management tool

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 1–3 years related work experience.
• PMI/ PMP certification expected within 2 years of employment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Define project schedule, scope, goals and resources.
• Assess need for additional team members and communicate needs to leadership.
• Plan, schedule, and track timelines, deliverables and milestones.
• Identify and resolve project scope, financial and schedule impacts.
• Build and grow relationships with customers and suppliers.
