Job summary

Engineered Cooling Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead a dedicated team in Pelham, AL. You will oversee the profitable execution of project deliverables, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain on-time, on-budget performance.

You will manage subcontractors and vendors, track POs and equipment, handle scheduling and change orders, and participate in project meetings while upholding safety standards and structured processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, PM, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and construction processes.
• Experience managing government and federal projects preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to deliver on time and on budget.
• Professional image and strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Team-oriented with proactive customer relations.

Responsibilities

Description

As a HVAC Project Manager you will be responsible for leading a passionate team to deliver exceptional customer service by meeting clients’ needs and commitments. Project Managers are responsible for the profitable execution of assigned project deliverables with a strong focus on client retention.

Project Managers are responsible for subcontract management and negotiations, Vendor PO's and tracking equipment, scheduling, change order management and pricing, trade-subcontractors proposal qualification, close out document preparation, punch list review and assisting with day-to-day correspondence, job meetings and requests set by the project owner. The manager will also adhere to all company safety standards, as well as following consistent and repeatable management procedures and processes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years prior HVAC project management with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• A knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and construction processes along with experience managing government and federal projects preferred.
• Strong financial and business acumen and a history of running projects on time and on budget
