About The Role

Our client, a respected leader in the HVAC industry, is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Project Manager to spearhead residential and commercial installation projects. This role is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about project management, team leadership, and delivering high-quality HVAC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Lead the execution of HVAC projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors, fostering a culture of high performance and safety compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing needs and concerns promptly to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress through inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and present financial reports to management to ensure cost-efficient solutions.
  • Stay abreast of HVAC industry trends and implement best practices to optimize operations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management.
    • Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, air-conditioning, and ductwork.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, and Timberline.
  • Preferred:
    • PMP Certification.
    • Experience with electrical trade and HVAC sheet metal.
    • OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it.
    • Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, and buyouts.
Work Environment

  • Project Locations: Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • Involves attending jobsite meetings, managing materials purchasing, and ensuring projects stay under budget and ahead of schedule.
  • Encompasses HVAC, plumbing, and piping installations in commercial buildings with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
