Job summary

Michigan Mechanical Ventures is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead commercial projects from conception to completion. This role requires managing timelines, budgets, and resources while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

You will oversee financials, ensure safety and quality standards, and mentor field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Certifications are a plus and strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management, with a strong focus on commercial projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Relevant industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Provide regular updates and address any concerns.
• Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and manage billing to ensure profitability.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, including field technicians and other staff.
• Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination: Source, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict quality control standards and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
