Job description

Mechanical Construction - Project Manager / Mechanical Engineer

Large mechanical contractor is looking to hire a couple of Project Managers with experience in new construction and retrofit of HVAC and Plumbing systems. Candidates must have a strong background in managing all financial responsibilities of the project.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize, and staff key field positions to support the Mechanical Construction Division of the company.
2. Support, assist, and mentor project managers and assistants in problem-solving and document interpretation.
3. Work closely with engineering, CAD, and estimating departments.
4. Support and assist the General Field Superintendent with job-specific responsibilities, including labor management and manpower forecasting.
5. Perform project buy-out of major materials, equipment, fixtures, and rough-in plumbing, piping, and sheet metal materials.
