Travelling HVAC Project Manager/Estimator needed ASAP

for a well-respected, growing company! This company has many years of proven excellence and shows no signs of slowing down!

Do you bring 2+ years of HVAC, MEP or construction project management experience AND love to travel?

The opportunity includes a base salary plus full benefits.

Candidates can live anywhere in the US, but must be able to travel to projects as required. You will work remotely, with pay up to $130k DOE, plus per diem.

This is a full-time role.

Our ideal candidate for a Project Manager has 2-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.

They should be personable, high energy, and demonstrate leadership, direction, and commitment to projects.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Understanding all project details to order materials, issue subcontracts, develop billings, manage RFIs and change orders, and review submittals.
  • Maintaining knowledge of project scope, conditions, and specifications.
  • Planning ahead to prevent and resolve issues.
  • Estimating and selling projects of various types: plan/spec, design/assist, design/build.
  • Overseeing fabrication shop work packages, including detail drawing review, material take-offs, buyout, and budgeting.
  • Collaborating with the Safety Department to analyze, manage, and mitigate risks, and ensure safety compliance on sites.
  • Ensuring contractual conditions are met.

Qualifications include:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Mechanical Construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, construction details, regulations, and standards.
  • Familiarity with construction management software; strong computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of P6 or MS Project; willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills.
  • Committed to long-term goals and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
  • Confident in knowledge, proactive in problem-solving.
