Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Project Coordinator for HVAC turnkey and contracting projects in Orlando, FL. This in-office role supports project setup, cross-functional coordination, scheduling, procurement, and financial administration to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The candidate will liaise with Project Managers, field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to maintain schedules, documentation, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of related experience ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing service or similar.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organization, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish new project records and organize project documentation.
• Coordinate communications between Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Schedule meetings, inspections and milestones; document weekly progress.
• Coordinate procurement of HVAC equipment and project materials; track deliveries.
• Process vendor invoices; manage project cost records and invoicing.
• Maintain complete project records and upload closeout documentation.
• Coordinate Davis-Bacon certified payroll and compliance documentation.
• Generate weekly progress reports and monitor revenue, costs and forecasts.
• Reconcile project costs at closeout and ensure smooth turnover.
