Job summary

MTI in Horn Lake, MS is seeking an HVAC Program Director to lead and mentor an instructional team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure hands-on training remains aligned with industry standards. The role focuses on student success, program quality, and accreditation readiness.

You will coach instructors, manage curriculum development, and support student outcomes while maintaining strong campus partnerships.

Qualifications

Experience leading an instructional team in a postsecondary, vocational, or technical environment.
Proven ability to coach instructors, develop programs, and ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards.
Strong organizational and people skills with a passion for student success.

Responsibilities

Lead HVAC instructional team including onboarding, coaching, classroom observations, and performance feedback.
Oversee daily program operations: scheduling, labs, equipment, supplies, and instructional quality.
Ensure curriculum and training meet industry standards and certification requirements.
Monitor student retention, credentialing, graduation, and placement outcomes.
Collaborate with campus leadership to address student and faculty needs and improve the program.
Lead program compliance, documentation, reporting, and accreditation activities (HVAC Excellence).
Remain connected to the classroom and provide instructional coverage as needed.
