Job summary

RAE Corporation in Pryor, Oklahoma, is seeking a Product Design Engineer 2 to join our HVACR team. You will collaborate with electrical and process engineers to design, review BOMs, create sequences of operation, and select refrigeration components while ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5–10 years engineering experience; or 3+ years HVACR equipment design.
• Strong in Microsoft Office and written/oral communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with System Design, Process, and manufacturing teams to develop equipment designs.
• Participate in design reviews to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Review BOMs and drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Create equipment sequences of operation and select refrigeration/hydronic components.
• Develop submittal documents with specifications, drawings, and performance data.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and support value engineering initiatives.
