Job summary

RAE Corporation in Pryor, Oklahoma, is seeking a Product Design Engineer 1 to participate in designing and developing HVAC products. This entry-level role is suitable for engineers with up to 5 years of experience and collaborates with experienced engineers.

You will review engineering documentation, assist in creating equipment submittal documents, BOMs, specs, drawings, and performance data for customer approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of engineering experience; HVACR experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• FE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Safe and Clean Environment: Adhere to procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Collaboration and Design Support: Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address design challenges and optimize product performance.
• Participation in design reviews and input to enhance design quality and manufacturability.
• Review BOMs for accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
• Create equipment submittal documents with technical specifications, drawings, and performance data for customer approval and project documentation.
• Provide technical expertise or support related to equipment design and troubleshooting.
