Job summary

RAE Corporation in Pryor, Oklahoma is seeking an entry-level Product Design Engineer 1 to participate in the design and development of HVAC products. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to support design initiatives and prepare equipment submittal documents.

Ideal candidate has 0–5 years of engineering experience, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 0–5 years engineering experience; HVACR experience preferred but not required.
• FE license preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Safe and Clean Environment: adhere to procedures, rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address design challenges and optimize product performance.
• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and design compliance.
• Create equipment submittal documents, including specifications, drawings, and performance data.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction through value engineering and optimization strategies.
• Provide technical expertise or support related to equipment design and troubleshooting.
