Qualifications

HVAC Preventive Maintenance Sales Representative

W.B Guimarin, one of South Carolina’s largest, family-owned full service Mechanical Contractor’s with over 100 years of continual service, currently has an opportunity for a Commercial HVAC Preventive Maintenance Sales Representative in the Charleston, SC area.

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused PM Sales Rep for HVAC maintenance.

What you will do

• In this position you will lead the sales efforts for HVAC preventive maintenance contracts in the Charleston, SC area, in commercial and industrial markets. You will do this by:


• Prospecting to locate service and maintenance opportunities in your area and converting those opportunities into service plans.


• You will be required to find profitable opportunities by developing business with new customers.


• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing customers


• Perform site evaluation surveys.


• Establishing new work by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing your sales efforts


• Preparing cost estimates by studying plans and related customer documents; consulting with engineers and other professionals


• Preparing professional proposals and presentations that are tailored to the customer’s needs and effectively communicate proposed solutions


• Fostering excellent communication among team members


• Maintaining good working relationships with our service sales team, service coordinators, and technician personnel


• Ensuring the scope of work is delivered in a timely and cost efficient manner


• You will be required to actively promote a safe work environment and adhere to all OSHA standards.


• You should have strong closing skills, be goal oriented and work well as part of a team.

Education and Key Requirements

• Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office Programs a plus


• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.


• Should have the ability to climb ladders and have some physical agility.


• Sales experience required; HVAC sales experience a plus.
