ENFRA LLC seeks a Pre-Commissioning Technician IV to support startup, repair, and system commissioning in Lafayette, LA. The role involves mentoring by experienced staff and contributing to safety and process excellence in a high-demand energy infrastructure environment.

The candidate should have EPA 608, OSHA 30, NFPA 70 certifications, plus 8+ years of relevant experience and strong troubleshooting of hydronic, VRF, and chiller systems. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• 20 hours of continued education.
• 8+ years' experience.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70 certification.
• Exposure to more complex system concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Safety habits, copper tube brazing, soft skills, time management.
• Troubleshooting system knowledge, hydronic and VRF systems.
• Chiller operation.

Responsibilities

• Startup: start up less complex equipment and assist with complex equipment.
• Diagnose and Repair: assist more senior technicians troubleshooting problems and repairing them.
• Support for Operations: assist with system flushing, TAB, setting PRV's, maintaining belts, greasing bearings and motors before turnover.
• Review of Submittal Documents: verify equipment on job and submittal match voltage/amps/HP/etc.
• Mentoring of Other Employees: not expected to provide direct mentoring to other employees.
• After Hours Work: the individual works overtime on occasion.
