• Exposure to more complex system concepts and troubleshooting methodologies
• Ability to develop safety habits, copper tube brazing, time management, troubleshooting system knowledge, hydronic systems, VRF systems, and chiller operation through mentorship, continuing education, and hands-on activity
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Ability to move in tight and confined spaces
• Ability to operate machinery and/or power tools
• Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Start up less complex equipment and assist higher-level technicians with complex equipment and systems
• Gather product information including model numbers, serial numbers, belt sizes, and filter sizes
• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and repairs
• Assist with system flushing, TAB, setting PRVs, maintaining belts, and greasing bearings and motors before turnover
• Verify that job-site equipment matches submittal documents for voltage, amps, horsepower, and other specifications
• Support the pre-commissioning department in equipment and system startup and repair
• Work overtime on occasion
