Job summary

ASI Heating and Air in San Diego seeks an experienced Sales Trainer to own and continuously improve the sales process across HVAC and Plumbing departments. You will develop, train, inspect, measure, and improve the sales process while partnering with leaders to ensure consistent execution and accountability.

The role involves classroom and field training, ride‑along coaching, and overseeing apprentice development, with a salary range of $100,000–$150,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related home services.

Responsibilities

• Own, standardize, and improve the sales process across HVAC and Plumbing.
• Lead classroom and field training, role‑play, and coaching.
• Ride‑along coaching with Comfort Advisors, technicians, and staff.
• Oversee sales apprentice training, assessments, and graduation standards.
• Track and report sales metrics and performance trends.
• Partner with managers on coaching plans, accountability, and follow‑ups.
• Teach managers to coach and develop sales teams.
• Align call center to booking quality and follow‑ups.
• Ensure cross‑department sales philosophy across HVAC Equipment, Service, and Plumbing.
• Identify performance gaps and translate observations into improvements.
