Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced HVAC and/or plumbing Project Executive in the LA area to lead mechanical construction projects across higher education, government, healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors. With 10+ years of PM experience, you will manage teams, forecast workloads, and represent the firm in client meetings.

The role includes mentorship, strong leadership, and a path toward growth within a growing contractor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing construction project management experience.
• Sales and estimating experience is preferred.
• Superior interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
• Solid project budgeting and financial management skills.
• Ability to resolve team management issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams across design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Prepare workload, sales forecasts and allocate resources for administrative and managerial tasks.
• Represent the company at meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
• Mentor staff in all phases of the design process and guide HR on training needs.
• Utilize leadership and motivation techniques to maximize productivity and satisfaction.
• Ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.

Project Executive Skills

• Team Management
• Develop, establish, and administer procedures and systems pertaining to team management matters.
• Prepare workload, sales forecasts and team resources/schedule for administrative and managerial functions.
• Provide workload forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress analysis regarding prospective unsecured projects.
• Client Liaison/Communication
• Represent company at meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders as required.
• Mentor staff in all phases of design process and make recommendations to HR on training requirements.
• Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction.

Project Executive Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing construction Project Management experience
