United Mechanical is seeking a Service Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC and plumbing projects. You will bridge field operations and project management, ensuring projects run smoothly through thorough coordination and clear communication.

Responsibilities include tracking progress, procuring equipment, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with field teams. A bachelor’s in engineering and 1–3+ years in HVAC/MEP projects are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (mechanical, industrial, etc.).
• 1–3+ years’ work experience in project engineering, internship, or co-op in HVAC/MEP/construction.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, ductwork, piping, refrigeration, and energy-efficiency solutions.
• Digital literacy with PC applications and quickly learning software tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet for estimating, proposals, and docs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating HVAC and plumbing projects.
• Track project progress and help manage timelines and milestones.
• Support procurement of HVAC and plumbing equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain project documentation: submittals, drawings, RFIs, change orders, and meeting notes.
• Communicate regularly with field supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and codes/regulations.
• Assist with cost tracking, budget reviews, and invoicing processes.
• Attend project meetings and help prepare agendas and minutes.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and subcontractor schedules with field personnel.
• Support project closeout activities including inspections, punch lists, turnover packages.
