Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily HVAC and plumbing operations, coordinating with field and office teams to elevate customer experience and service offerings.

You will lead scheduling, dispatching, safety, and quality control while partnering with ownership to grow residential and commercial service agreements and drive overall operational excellence.

[KEY DUTIES]

• Oversee daily HVAC and plumbing service/installation operations, including scheduling, dispatching, workflow, job-site performance, quality control, and compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop field personnel while ensuring exceptional workmanship, professionalism, customer service, and accountability.
• Support estimating, equipment/material selection, proposals, and the development and growth of residential and commercial service agreements.

[REQUIREMENTS]

• Proven experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, or a related service/installation environment, with strong operational or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of estimating, scheduling, service calls, customer relations, and field operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with ownership, office staff, technicians, and customers.

[DETAILS]

• $35–$45/hour, based on experience, with future performance-based incentive opportunities tied to the growth of the company's service agreement program.

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM — full-time leadership position working directly with ownership and both office and field teams.
