Job summary

Jobot in Honolulu, Hawaii seeks an HVAC/Plumbing Mechanical Engineer to join our established team designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and government facilities.

You will collaborate with project teams from concept through construction, perform load calculations, and prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. 3+ years of experience and a BS in mechanical engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of mechanical/HVAC design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in compliance with applicable codes.
• Produce construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy compliance analysis.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support construction activities.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and assist with system commissioning.
