Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an HVAC/Plumbing Designer for a Riverside, CA-based contractor. This full-time, in-person role focuses on plumbing, HVAC, piping, and mechanical design across commercial, multifamily, and residential projects, with opportunities to expand technical skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of plumbing/HVAC or mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to design for commercial, multifamily, and residential projects.
• Detail-oriented with knowledge of codes.
• Ability to read plans and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing/HVAC plans and set up CAD or Revit files.
• Design and modify plumbing, piping, HVAC, and mechanical systems as per specs and codes.
• Create 2D/3D drawings, layouts, details, isometrics, schedules, fabrication/installation drawings in Revit/AutoCAD.
• Review drawings and submittals for coordination, constructability and compliance.
• Perform material takeoffs and support fabrication/field teams with design questions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and field operations to resolve design issues.
