GFT seeks a Mechanical Designer for our Building and Places Team in Mechanicsburg, operating on a hybrid schedule with regular office attendance. The role centers on designing efficient HVAC and plumbing systems, coordinating with clients and agencies, and delivering projects within scope and budget.

Responsibilities include REVIT documentation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, site visits, QA/QC adherence, and active participation in marketing efforts.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in HVAC and Plumbing design.
• HVAC design including load calculations and equipment performance; ASHRAE guidelines familiarity.
• Plumbing design including water supply and drainage layouts; ASPE guidelines familiarity.
• Knowledge of applicable codes.
• Experience with REVIT and BIM workflows in mechanical design; Office 365 proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design building HVAC and plumbing systems with calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specs, and coordination.
• Lead and participate in client, agency, utility, and project-team meetings.
• Deliver projects on time and within client budgets.
