Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an HVAC & Plumbing Engineer to join our HVACP group. You will design HVAC and plumbing systems for municipal, utility, and industrial facilities, coordinating reports, calculations, and drawings.

You will develop professionally in a collaborative environment with mentoring from experienced engineers, engaging in QA/QC, shop drawing review, and field oversight. The role offers flexible in-office scheduling and regional projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related building engineering field.
• EI or EIT certification preferred.
• PE registration is a plus.
• 2-5 years of design and building construction experience, especially HVAC and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform work independently with supervision from a Technical Manager or senior engineer.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work as part of project scope.
• Provide QA/QC and support cost estimates.
• Interface with clients, sub-consultants, and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and support career development.
