Job summary

Qualifications

• Some experience as a plant operator.
• Demonstrated abilities of the skills listed above
• A valid driver’s license may be required for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and protocols.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair hospital boiler and/or chiller systems.
• Perform water treatment on boilers, steam systems, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Maintain and prepare systems for inspections and teardown/major maintenance.
• Troubleshoot HVAC controls and ensure a clean, safe workspace.
• Communicate effectively with staff and prioritize workload for minimal supervision.
