Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training such as a journeyman’s certificate and significant plant operator experience.
• Mastery of boiler and chiller plant operation is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with attention to safety procedures.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair boiler and chiller systems; manage water treatment and inspections.
• Lead boiler/chiller teardown and major maintenance tasks.
• Winterize chillers and cooling towers; troubleshoot HVAC controls.
• Communicate effectively with staff and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Accurately submit timekeeping documentation.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of HVAC equipment including boilers and pumps.
