Job Description:The Plant Operator is a position in the Facilities Management department that requires demonstrated deep expertise in plant operations and maintenance, such as journeyman-level certification. Regardless of specialty, a Plant Operator II may be required to perform other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor repairs or assisting with other projects.Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm/ on-call rotationFull-timebenefits eligibleEssential FunctionsResponsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the hospital's boiler and/or chiller systems. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
