Job summary

DWC Mechanical is seeking a Service Sales Manager for Planned Maintenance to lead and grow our commercial HVAC maintenance sales team in Amherst, NY. You will drive revenue and establish disciplined sales processes while nurturing relationships with building owners and facility leaders.

You will guide strategy, proposal development, and contract negotiation, ensuring profitable maintenance agreements and strong customer value. Travel to local sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC, mechanical service, or related B2B sales experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.
• Proven ability to sell service agreements and recurring maintenance.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and maintenance principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel locally with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planned maintenance sales department and drive revenue, gross margin, and new agreement targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the maintenance agreement portfolio.
• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for pipeline development and closing results.
• Conduct pipeline reviews, strategy meetings, and performance discussions.
• Identify gaps in sales coverage and implement corrective strategies.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training as the department grows.
• Build relationships with property managers, facility directors, and other decision-makers.
• Support prospecting efforts including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Oversee development and sale of maintenance agreements; ensure pricing and scopes are aligned with customer needs.
• Maintain CRM records, review major proposals, and improve win rates.
