Robert Madden Industries, LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Parts & Supplies Pricing Analyst in Austin, TX to manage contract pricing and support pricing strategies across our parts inventory.

The role emphasizes data-driven negotiations, Excel-based pricing models, and cross-functional collaboration with purchasing, operations, and finance to optimize margins and inventory alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in pricing analysis, procurement, purchasing, or a related analytical role (internships and relevant coursework/projects will be considered).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, macros/VBA, and building pricing/cost models.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support data analysis, reporting, or process efficiency.
  • Solid data analytics skills, with the ability to interpret pricing and cost data to inform negotiation strategy.
  • Comfortable working with and analyzing large data sets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills for working directly with counterparts, vendors, and leadership.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and contracts at once.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain contract pricing for parts and supplies.
  • Analyze historical pricing, market trends, and cost data to identify negotiation leverage and pricing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain pricing models, cost comparisons, and vendor scorecards in Excel to support negotiation strategy and decision-making.
  • Review and renew vendor contracts, ensuring pricing terms remain competitive and aligned with company margin targets.
  • Monitor vendor performance, pricing compliance, and contract adherence; flag and resolve pricing discrepancies.
  • Partner with purchasing, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategy with inventory needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing competitive pricing analysis and market intelligence to support their pricing and quoting decisions.
  • Track industry pricing trends and supplier market conditions to proactively identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare regular pricing reports, negotiation summaries, and cost-savings analyses for leadership.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of vendor agreements, pricing histories, and negotiation outcomes.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Parts & Supplies Pricing Analyst to manage contract pricing for our parts and supplies inventory. In this role, you will help drive vendor pricing negotiations through cost and market data analysis, provide internal pricing support to our sales organization, and assist in executing our go-to-market pricing strategy for the parts and supplies business.
