Job summary

Big Horn Heating and Cooling is seeking an HVAC New Construction Apprentice to support installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on residential and commercial projects. This entry-level role offers hands-on training under experienced installers to develop skills, safety awareness, and knowledge of new construction practices.

You will learn ductwork, piping, equipment placement, and system start-ups while adhering to safety policies and maintaining clean, organized job sites

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Enrollment in or completion of HVAC trade or technical school preferred.
No prior experience required; willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

Assist installers with ductwork, piping, equipment placement, and system assembly on new construction sites.
Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and installation plans for proper system layout.
Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely.
Support installation teams in setting up HVAC systems and related components.
Observe system start-ups, testing, and quality inspections.
Maintain clean and safe job sites.
