Job summary

Paschal Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Inc. is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to join our team. You will learn and perform a range of residential and light commercial HVAC installation tasks under supervision, while upholding our customer service standards.

You will develop knowledge of HVAC systems, safety practices, and required paperwork. A clean driving record and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to read/understand technical instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of equipment, tools and methods used in HVAC installations.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of installations of HVAC equipment following directions from Lead Technicians and Supervisors.
• Adhere to work plans, tasks, and schedules with quality control.
• Document actions by completing records and installation paperwork as required.
• Learn operating principles of HVAC systems and safety practices including OSHA standards.
• Gain knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment for residential and light commercial installations.
• Carry out daily duties under direct supervision while delivering excellent customer service.
