Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Metal Fabricator in Fairmont, MN. The position offers a daytime shift, 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a temp/contract path toward full-time opportunities.

The role involves fabricating parts for HVAC systems, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety in a team-driven setting. You will prepare, fabricate, and paint components, operate shop tools, and ensure quality across assemblies while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow production schedules and meet daily manufacturing goals.
• Prepare, fabricate, and paint parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Operate manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and production defects promptly.
