Job summary

DMI Companies, Inc. is seeking a Fabricator to produce and assemble metal components for HVAC systems in a fast-paced shop. You will apply cutting, forming, and joining techniques while reading blueprints to meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in metal fabrication or welding, with proficiency in reading drawings and following safety practices. This role offers steady weekday hours, solid benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field.
• Experience with welding and metal joining processes (GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, seam/spot welding preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of shop safety practices.
• Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal components using cutting, forming, and joining processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Operate shop equipment, including shears, presses, and related machinery.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively to meet production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.
