Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an Account Manager with strong HVAC and MEP knowledge to drive sales, grow key customer relationships, and coordinate technical and commercial activities across projects in California.

You will collaborate with engineering, estimating, project management, and field teams to scope HVAC and controls solutions, prepare proposals, and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to contract closure. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management or sales experience in HVAC/MEP or mechanical contracting industries.
• Strong technical aptitude to translate HVAC details into business value for clients.
• Willingness to travel to client sites; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts, building long-term relationships and high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute account growth plans to meet sales targets and expand services within existing customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, project management, and field teams to scope HVAC/controls solutions and prepare proposals.
• Present technical solutions and quotations, explaining system benefits, controls integration, lifecycle costs, and energy efficiency.
• Manage sales pipeline and forecasting using CRM; track opportunities from initial contact through contract execution.
• Negotiate commercial terms with legal and finance to ensure profitable, compliant agreements.
• Provide after-sales support, coordinating warranty, service, and retrofit activities.
• Monitor market trends and HVAC technologies to advise customers and inform internal strategies.
• Conduct regular account reviews and develop action plans to address service or delivery issues.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and technical workshops.
