Johnson Controls, a leading Building Technology company, is seeking a warehouse-focused role to maintain the yard, receive and export critical HVAC parts, and support on-site deliveries to job locations. The role requires organization, reliability, and physical stamina for outdoor and shop environments.

Candidates will review order logs, coordinate with the shop, and help ensure timely shipments. Some field time and HVAC training may be offered after core responsibilities are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Holding a forklift license or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to pass an MVR for driving a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

What you will do

Johnson Controls the leading Building Technology OEM for Healthcare, Manufacturing, Higher Education, K12 and Commercial Real Estate is seeking skilled HVAC Servicemen to join our growing business. Johnson Controls offers competitive pay and benefits. The main priority of this role will be to maintain the warehouse, receive/export critical parts and components, and assist with delivering mission critical parts/materials to job sites. Reporting to our local shop/office and reviewing technicians order logs in order to know what shipments to expect for today as well as reviewing any outgoing shipments that need to be fulfilled. Maintaining shop/lay down yard organization and cleanliness will be a high priority of this position as well. Actual field time and HVAC training will be an option for this position if all other job tasks are completed.

What we look for

• Ability to do manual labor ie: lifting of 50LBS.
• Holding a forklift license or having the ability to get forklift certified.
• Ability to pass an MVR for access to drive a company decaled vehicle.
• Being a good organizer and have the ability to manage incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Ability to work in outside/shop conditions.
• Reliability is key and being punctual for daily duties.

*This is a Bargaining Unit Position. Pay Range: $18.69-$25 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
