Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Maintenance Trades Specialist I with a focus on Mechanical/HVAC to diagnose, repair, and install mechanical and HVAC systems for DoD facilities. The role requires a high school diploma or apprenticeship, CFC certification, and 2 years of related experience, plus a valid license and potential clearance.

The position involves outdoor shop work, possibly travel to remote facilities, and compliance with safety and quality standards; ability to lift up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and formal apprenticeship programs.
• CFC certification required upon hire.
• Two years of related work experience in building trades (Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical).
• U.S. citizen and valid driver’s license; ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment and subsystems.
• Perform HVAC installation, service, and repairs per specs.
• Follow safety, QA, and regulatory guidelines; operate with hand tools and basic power tools.
