Job summary

JT4, LLC, based at Edwards Air Force Base, seeks a Maintenance Trades Specialist II - Electrical to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems across facilities and equipment. You will read blueprints, perform load calculations, and use precise testing tools to ensure reliability.

The role requires five years of related experience, a high school diploma with an apprenticeship, and eligibility for a DoD security clearance. Overtime, travel, and field assignments may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
• Five (5) years of directly related electrical work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance within 180 days.
• Must possess a valid, current state-issued driver’s license and be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or repair electrical equipment for generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
• Examine blueprints, drawings, layouts to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
• Perform calculations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
• Use hand tools, measuring, and testing instruments specific to electrical trade.
• May provide work direction to lower level maintenance workers and perform other duties as assigned.
