Coffman Engineers is seeking an outgoing and self-motivated HVAC Mechanical Engineer with 3-7 years of experience to join our Downtown Los Angeles office. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of mechanical engineering projects while collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• FE/EIT certification required.
• Experience designing HVAC systems for building projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems for various buildings.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and select equipment.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, civil, electrical, and fire protection teams.
• Manage project tasks and deliverables while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget.
